COVID RISK ASSESSMENT

  1. If adverse weather or unforeseen circumstances will prevent our meeting, we will do our best to contact you 24 hours prior to this date to give you an opportunity to rebook. However, it is the responsibility of attendees to check the Husky Adventures website 24 hours prior to the meeting or event for last minute updates or changes.
  1. Please be aware that this is a strenuous outdoor activity. Our animals are powerful and they do pull. In addition, our walks take place in often rough and rugged terrain where injuries from slips trips and falls are a distinct possibility.
  1. Each of the venues that we visit are fully risk assessed on an annual basis. However, if changes to the venues occur due to unforeseen circumstances it is incumbent on the participants to navigate such hazards responsibly and at their own risk.
  1. We will do everything in our power to minimise the risk of personal injury, as well as loss or damage to personal property. However, by booking an event with Husky Adventures you have considered and accepted the risks involved, and take part entirely at your own risk.
  1. Good general level of health and fitness of all participants is required. If attendees have a pre-existing medical condition, including but not limited to for example allergies to pets’ fur and hair, pregnancy, heart or raspatory conditions etc, the responsibility to seek medical and professional advice for the suitability of our events before attending is entirely yours, as a consenting adult acting on behalf of either yourself or your sibling(s) or charge(s).
  1. From time-to-time Husky Adventures will take photographs including video and audio during our events for our own promotional purposes. This material will not be shared with third parties, and all attendees will be given an opportunity to withhold consent for their image to be used by us on the day.
  1. Participants minimum age 8years. Participants 12 years and under must share lead/harness with an accompanying adult.
  1. Under 16’s must be accompanied by an adult at all times.
  1. In groups, minimum ratio of under 16’s to adults is 2:1
  1. Suitable Outdoor footwear and clothing for the climate and event must be worn. Failure to do so may result in exclusion from the event.
  1. The welfare of our animals and our staff will always come first. For this reason, we reserve the right to cancel a meeting or refuse participation of any attendees before, or at any time during an event without prior notice on health or safety grounds, should our animals or any participants physical condition, behaviour or general demeaner become of concern to Husky Adventures staff.
  1. Strict attention to instructors must be observed at all times.
  1. Mishandling, ill-treatment or aggressive behaviour towards our animals will not be tolerated and will lead to immediate exclusion from the event.
  1. Strictly no alcohol or non-prescription drugs to be consumed before or during our activities. If a member of our team suspects that any participants are under the influence of alcohol or illegal substances, you will not be permitted to take part in our event.
  1. Minimum fourteen days’ notice of cancelation is required once a booking has been made. Failure to do so, unless under exceptional circumstances, may result in the booking cancelation without refund.
  1. Token refunds may or may not be offered at Husky Adventures discretion.
  1. All tokens are valid for 12month from date of purchase.
  1. The walk will begin ½ hour after designated meeting time, so please be prompt to avoid missing the event.
  1. No refund will be applicable for missed event due to late arrival.
  1. Huskey Adventures cannot be held responsible for unfavourable experiences at any of the eateries recommended on our website or parking issues experienced at any of the venues visited.
  1. Vehicles parked and property left unattended at any of the venues visited for a Husky Adventures experience is done so entirely at the owner’s risk.
  1. COVID-19: Customers and visitors will be requested to leave if displaying symptoms of illness. A temperature check will be conducted upon arrival.
  1. All persons taking part in Husky Adventures activities are required to sign our attendance form at the meeting. By signing this document, participants are confirming that they have read, fully understood and accept our terms and conditions and all risks associated with our activities.
  1. By booking with Husky Adventures, participants and visitors accept all our terms and conditions and agree to absolve Husky Adventures and our staff of any and all losses suffered including death, injuries and infirmities however caused before during and after attending our events.
